Holmes Jr. High Builders Club Alex Wins Kiwanis International

Speech Contest.... After winning the Cal-Nev-Ha District Speech Competitions,

the Greater Davis Kiwanis Club Sponsored Youth eighth grader took the top

award at the International Builders Club level. Alex will be accompanied on an

expense paid trip by parents Deborah and Peter to receive his award at

the Kiwanis International Convention in New Orleans, Louisiana, June 21-25,

2002. According to our own Builders Club Advisor Extraordinaire Carol,

Alex's first place finish and last year's fifth place finish by Justin has given our

Holmes Jr. High Builders Club a Speech Contest finalists at the Kiwanis

International level for two consecutive years...Congratulations Alex and Advisor
