Many of you will remember Wally as a charter member of the KFH, Sacramento Club. Wally and his wife, Lee, have been exceptional supporters of the Kiwanis Family House. . . Past LtG Marv led a very successful day of painting benches, barns, corral fence rails, and garbage cans. Some even replaced 4x8 plywood barriers on the round ring. Members from K-Kids, Builders, and Key Clubs participated. Circle K at UCDavis led the carpentry work on the ring. As designed, the day was truly a special time of service and fun for the "Whole Kiwanis Family." Governor Patti installed our Lt. Governor Dan at an event held on September 17. More than $200 was collected for an auction for the Katrina Disaster Relief Project through The Salvation Army. LtG Dan presented a challenge for all Kiwanians to "Get A Round Tuit." You will be hearing more on this during Dan's visits to your club this fall.
