**** THE KIWANIS YEAR 2004-2005 BEGINS !!! LTG Bob I has issued his challenge, "GO FOR THE GOLD !" Bob's enthusiasm is catching... not just goldfish. Each of us have already felt that this will be a great year, a year of success at the club level and a year of seeing the ultimate building of the new Kiwanis Family House. We are all anxiously ready for this new year... and we are ready to move with more than a duck waddle. Thanks to each and everyone of you for the many successes that you have brought to your clubs and the division. You have provided an excellent base for us to grow this next year. Enjoy a day of retirement and then gear up with our new LTG Bob to fulfill even greater achievements for your clubs and Division 7.

**** WITH DEEPEST SADNESS, WE REPORT THAT OUR WONDERFUL FRIEND, "MR. KIWANIS", PAST LT. GOVERNOR RED F DIED ON FRIDAY MORNING, SEPTEMBER 24, 2004... Red's family has sent a message to confirm a memorial service on the afternoon of Saturday, October 9: "Come and gather for a Time of Remembrance and Refreshments, in Honor of Wilford (Red) F. October 9th, 3:00 pm at the Davis Senior Center Multipurpose Room on 7th Street at A Street, in Davis." We hope many Kiwanians will be able to to attend this special gathering.
